Nibley Elementary 2026-2027 TSSA PLAN
Nibley Elementary will focus on three goals for the upcoming school year.
Goal #1:
● Nibley Elementary will implement the Character Strong curriculum during the 2026-27 school year to improve student climate and behavior. Under the leadership of the Principal, Counselor and Tier 2 Behavior Coach, the team will monitor program fidelity and its impact on reducing office referrals and improving student behavior and engagement.
Action Plan:
1.To ensure student success, the Behavior Team will execute a coordinated behavioral response plan. By pairing Tier 1 classroom Character Strong behavior instruction with Tier 2 Character Strong small group support, this team will proactively identify at-risk students and provide appropriate, tailored interventions. Success will be measured through regular collaborative reviews with the Behavior Team to ensure that resources are aligned with the highest student needs.
This goal falls under Behavior Support-Multitiered. $50,155 has been allocated to this goal.
Goal #2:
● To boost math skills during the 2026-27 school year, Nibley Elementary will provide students with 1:1 Chromebooks to use iReady learning software. Teacher and classroom aides will use regular quiz and test data to give students targeted, extra help where they need it most. With these tools and supports, our goal is for every grade level to meet or exceed the district average of their end-of-year math tests (Acadience, iReady, or Rise)
Action Plan:
1. Summative Window: Administer the chosen end-of-year assessments.Goal Verification: Compare results against the 2024-2025 district averages and the previous year’s scores. A TSSA impact report showing the correlation between Chromebook usage/intervention and the final proficiency growth will be created to show school-wide success.
