Nibley Elementary 2025-2026 TSSA PLAN
Nibley Elementary will focus on three goals for the upcoming school year.
Goal #1:
● During the 2025-26 school year Nibley Elementary will conduct a student well-being screening in grades K-6 for fall, winter and spring to assist with identifying students who may benefit from behavioral or social emotional support.
Action Plan:
1. The Nibley staff will receive training on how to complete the rating scales.
2. The data obtained will be reviewed by the school principal and school counselor to identify students who
may be at elevated risk for internalizing or externalizing factors that impact academic achievement,
attendance, behavior, social-emotional wellness, and mental health.
3. The counselor will consult with grade-level PLC teams and individual teachers to determine appropriate
Tier 1 supports in the general education classroom and school.
4. Teachers and counselors may consult with the school TAG team to plan targeted Tier 2 or Tier 3
interventions to address areas of concern.
This Goal falls under the category of Behavior Support-Multitiered. $19,068 has been allocated to this goal.
Goal #2:
● Kindergarten through 3rd grade students will achieve 74% growth on the Acadience Reading Assessment by the mid-year testing session.
Action Plan:
1. Success will be measured using Acadience testing data, with a focus on the Reading Pathways of Progress
report from fall 2025 and winter 2026 to quantify student reading growth.
2. Paraprofessionals will be hired to provide Tier 2 reading support through small group instruction and to
support progress monitoring efforts.
3. Funds will also be used to provide substitute teachers to support peer-to-peer observations.
This goal falls under the category of Learning and Growth. $66,049 has been allocated to this goal.
Goal #3:
● Enhance digital literacy skills by providing Chromebook devices for classroom use. These funds will be used to update existing Chromebooks that are no longer supported due to their age.
Action Plan:
1. There is a need for updated Chromebook devices to ensure students have reliable access to technology
that enhances learning.
2. Success will be measured by increased use of technology to support student learning and improved access
to digital devices for writing, testing, and classroom work.
3. Teacher computers will also be updated as needed.
4. To address the need for updated Chromebook devices, we will allocate funds to replace outdated
equipment and ensure every student has access to a reliable device for instructional use.
5. Ongoing training and technical support will be provided to maximize effective integration of technology into
daily classroom activities.
This goal falls under Learning and Growth. $26,405 has been allocated to this goal.
